In Conversation with... Two Ways Home

I'm excited to share with you my interview with alt-country and Americana duo Two Ways Home aka Isabella Mariee and Lewis Fowler. I caught up with them to find out about their upcoming gig at Nash Nights, how the band was formed and their life as a musicians and songwriters.
Isabella is originally from Vienna, Austria and Lewis is from the Cotswolds, U.K. and both had different musical interests growing up. From classic pop, soul, RnB and rock music they have been influenced by a wide variety of performers from Michael Jackson, Tina Turner, Whitney Houston through to Led Zeppelin, Freddie Mercury, The Eagles and Lynyrd Skynyrd. Listen to find out how this range of music has influenced their current sound of alt-country and Americana.

With 3 highly successful EP's to date; Wood For Trees, Better Days and Closest Stranger, Two Ways Home are taking big strides to make their debut album. As a full independent act, like many artists, they need to fund their music themselves and have set up an IndiGogo campaign to help with the recording and PR campaign for the album and get their fans involved in being a part of the process.
I really enjoy the variety in their music, from uptempo songs to the slower and deeper songs, there's also a range of instruments to listen out for. If they are new to you, I highly recommend listening to 'Outlaws', 'Just For Now', 'Better Days' and the new single 'As I Leave'.
Two Ways Home definitely make my 'one to watch' list as the music sounds very natural and easy to listen to and enjoy. To find out more visit their website www.twowayshome.com and their IndiGogo campaign here.Â
I hope you enjoyed the interview, I'll be staying in touch with Two Ways Home and following their journey and share any news with you all. Sammi x
