Write Like A Girl set to take Bristol by storm

Hi All,

I hope you had an amazing Christmas and enjoyed celebrating this festive time with friends and family.

I've got some exciting news to tell you; I am working with Scarlet River Management to promote some of the artists they represent and events coming to Bristol. As I'm from Bristol, it's really important to me to promote music in my local city and it's a great location for music.

The first event is Write Like A Girl coming to Bristol on Saturday 7 March at Cafe Kino. Get this date in your diary!

Write Like A Girl is a movement to support female songwriters and this event provides songwriters a spotlight to showcase their work. In the UK, fewer than 1 in 5 UK songwriters are women. Featuring some of the best up-and-coming female talent across Bristol and the UK, come along for an intimate night of live music and storytelling in a writer's round format.

Join Beth Keeping, Emily Faye and Vic Allen and three local artists Kelsey Bovey, Martha Clements and Danielle Celeste for a relaxed evening of music in a writers round format.

"Only 17% of UK songwriters are women. Write Like A Girl aims to put female songwriting talent back in the spotlight- and inspire more women to create original music"

- Emily Faye

I am proud to be supporting UK country music and in particular women in country music. More information coming soon about the event and artists to be announced coming soon!

Have a great week,
